Bettye Nicole is a devout Christian, mother, speaker, and author who is passionate about the things of God. Bettye spent most of her early years invested in the church where she was taught biblical principles. She has journeyed through life and adulthood and has experienced her fair share of hurt, despair, and pain.
Bettye came face to face with insurmountable pain during the unexpected loss of her daughter Bailey Nicole. After the loss of her daughter, she then went through a dreadful divorce. In Bettye’s darkest, loneliest hour she reached out to God, and He became her Healer and Sustainer through one of the most difficult times in her life.
During that time Bettye clung to the scripture Romans 8:28, which reminds us that “All things work together for the good of those that love Him, who have been called according to His purpose”. Bettye exchanged her pain and frustration for God’s peace and He lifted the burden and instructed her to “just write” and she obeyed. Instantaneously, He revealed to her that her present calling is to give hope to women all over the world that have felt the sting of infant loss. She created Bailey’s Dash Foundation and within three weeks, she gained over 15,000 followers on social media. Bailey Dash Foundation is an organization that fosters community and sisterhood and brings healing to the broken. Due to the level of brokenness she experienced, and the revelation of this word “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3) she stands boldly and encourages the hearts of other broken-hearted women. She has become a sister, friend, and a counselor for God’s people. She is on a quest to help women all over the world heal from broken dysfunctional relationships, rejection and loss. Bettye seeks to propel women into their God-ordained purpose and reminds them that although pain is present, there is a light at the end of the tunnel because God is always at work.
Pain has strengthened Bettye ’s love relationship with God and now, Christianity has a whole new meaning to her. Bettye Nicole has three beautiful children; Alasijah, Darius Jr. & Briyah. Bettye is currently working towards her radio program and she is grateful and full of thanks to God for His faithfulness in her family. She leaves her readers with this word, “We have two choices when we are faced with a storm, we can become bitter or better. I have chosen the latter.”
